Slip Back In Time (Carol Minke)

Slip Back In Time

Chaste green velvet pastures of our youth
(Cut on the bias, yet unfrayed)
Still drape their folds across a form
Laid out upon an inward eye,

Its bodice tight against the smooth
Swell of upright, nippled peaks
Whose ruffled flanks and dimpled belly thus
Enclose the unspoilt vista we call truth.
