You have to ask yourself
If it is worth the pain
To chase a few good words
Again, again, again.
You have to wonder why
Some memories remain
And others fly away
Again, again, again.
You have to be amazed
Your muse will entertain
A line, or two, or three
Again, again, again.
Yet you must work so hard
Again, again, again
To find the right last word
Again, again, again.
